Dividing standards of pressure levels

Low pressure pipe: 0≤P≤1.6MPa

Medium pressure pipe: 1.6

High pressure pipe: 10

Ultra high pressure pipe: P>100MPa

There are many classification methods for pressure vessels, division type is as per the usage, manufacturing and supervision as below:

1.   The level of pressure: low pressure vessels, medium pressure vessels, high pressure vessels and super-high pressure vessels.

2.   Filling matter: non-flammable, non-toxic; flammable or toxic; highly toxic.

3.   The role of processing technology:

Reaction vessel: Completing physical and chemical reaction of medium.

Heat exchanger: Completing the medium heat exchange.

Storage vessel: Completing the medium mass exchange, gas purification and solid, liquid, gas separation

Separator vessel: Used for the completion of the medium of mass exchange, gas purification, solid, liquid, gas separation of the container.
